On Wednesday, September 16, the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Men’s Selection Committee announced India’s squad for the upcoming white-ball home series against the West Indies.
Delving into the details of the ODI squad, Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi has received his maiden ODI call-up, while batter Naman Dhir also secured his maiden national call-up. Further, Ruturaj Gaikwad returned to the ODI set-up, with veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also considered.
While Gaikwad last featured in an ODI during the home series against South Africa last year, Jadeja last played an ODI in the home series against New Zealand in January 2026
Shifting our focus to the T20I squad, Mayank Yadav returned to the set-up after missing the T20I series against Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav and Prince Yadav have also been recalled, with Varun Chakravarthy missing out.
